After the spectacular success of his plays with shadows, who have gone through the ceremony of the Oscars, Oprah Winfrey's show and from Johannesburg to the Palace of Sheikh Abu-Dhabi, the Pilobolus creative team has joined forces with Steven Banks, writer of the popular American television program Bob Sponge SquarePants, to create Shadowland, a show full of shadows. The new creation will tell the galactic adventures of a girl who is trapped in the exotic world of shadows and moves between scenes of love and horror, looking for an exit. The production uses a technique that combines original music and sound effects,getting giving life to the the shadows. Shadowland of Pilobolus will undoubtedly be one of the most energetic and original events of the year, bringing together the imagination, innovation and humor.
